Cutting the cell count
At 36Wh per cell this carries roughly 1.7 times the energy of a 21700. Fewer cells means fewer spot welds, less nickel strip, and a smaller BMS channel count for the same total capacity.
Where it does not fit
The 26750 is a less common format. Before designing one in, confirm holder, spacer, and enclosure availability — the electrical gain is real, the mechanical ecosystem is not as mature as 21700.
High-capacity portable storage
A 2C continuous rating is comfortably above what a portable power station or storage module needs, so the capacity advantage comes without a current penalty at that duty.
Where it does not fit
Do not treat this as a cycling champion. At 300–500 cycles it is not a substitute for a chemistry built for daily deep discharge in a fixed solar bank.
